Teton Balsamroot 6"x4" Original Painting
Arrowleaf balsamroot grows abundantly across Wyoming and Montana every spring, and it’s not uncommon to find it sprawling in fields as far as the eye can see. It’s my favorite wildflower because of its sunny color and the rich, earthy scent of balsam that it gives off as you brush past it on the trail.
Balsamroot is a composite similar to sunflowers, meaning that each segment of center of the main bloom is its own tiny individual flower!
This original painting comes in a thrifted wooden frame that measures 8”x6”.
